Really friendly, a great company to start your flying journey with

Whilst studying for my PPL at Sleap, I took my theory exams at Aerohire, Halfpenny Green. The team were superb; friendly, had availability throughout the week, helped me with topics I missed the mark on, and were flexible so I could re-take the same day. Also good coffee and snacks 🙂 If not for the support and flexibility of Aerohire, it would have taken me a lot longer I think to pass all the PPL exams. I’m very grateful to the team. Cheers, Chris

I undertook my LAPL at Aerohire and have recently passed my skills test, thanks to the fantastic instructional team here. They are incredibly attentive and understanding of each individual's needs; you don't feel like just 'another student' here. Everything, from their homely-feel clubhouse to their business ethos where you will never feel pressured into taking unnecessary lessons, is a breath of fresh air, and I'm so glad I went with these guys.

I recently completed my night rating with Aerohire, and I’ve been flying self fly hire with them for over a year now and they’ve been great! I can only sing praise for my instructor, Ryan. They have great availability with a nice fleet of 2-4 seater aircraft. Their pay as you fly with no upfront payments gives good peace of mind. A local and honest Flying school! I would always recommend them!

Truly one of the best flying schools around! After spending a considerable amount learning to fly elsewhere near Burton on Trent, struggling with availability and lack of guidance, I decided to give Aerohire a call in September and I’ve never been more certain that I made the right decision. They have great availability of instructors and well maintained aircraft removing the frustration common with other schools where it’s a regular occurrence to wait weeks between lessons. The whole team (Ryan, George, Milo, Harkirit & Dave to name a few) are some of the most experienced instructors I’ve ever met & always go the extra mile to make sure you understand where you are in your training including what’s next / needed to progress. Which is a breath of fresh air compared to my previous flying school who simply kept you on the same exercise for the sake of gaining hours (money) from you. Aerohire have enabled me to gain a LAPL licence in record time which I’m certain would have took a considerable amount of more hours had I of stayed at the previous school. If you’re interested in learning to fly or simply have a passion for aviation and want to experience a local flight (makes a great gift!) I fully recommended Aerohire.

An excellent trustworthy school, very well and reliably run with a friendly, welcoming vibe and a true desire to see you do well.
