Your Trial Lesson will be your first experience of formal flight instruction and the first step in your journey to gaining your pilots licence. Your first formal flying lesson with one of our qualified flight instructors allowing you to take the controls of the aircraft.

 

On arrival you will receive a briefing from one of our fully qualified instructors who will conduct a pre-flight briefing including the effects of controls and theory of flight. When in the air you will be able to take the controls and fly the aircraft, this lesson will count towards your Pilot’s Licence, should you wish to continue training.

Important Information

This introductory flight is ideal for those who would like to experience flying in a light aircraft. Unlike an air experience flight, you will be able to take the controls of the aircraft and the time flown with our qualified flight instructor will count towards achieving a Private Pilots Licence (PPL) or Light Aircraft Pilots Licence (LAPL).

Validity

Flights are valid for six months from purchase date.

Restrictions

Maximum weight is 14.0 stone (89 kg) and maximum height is 6' 5" (1.98 m). Minimum age is 14 years to log towards either pilots licences. Aircraft will always be flown within weight limits and appropriate weather conditions.
