WoW! What an amazing experience!!! We got the first flying lesson for our 11 years old son. Thank you Team and especially Tom who firstly got to show our son the plane, made him comfortable and can I just add how extremely knowledgeable Tom is! He answered every single question about the plane! Very professional and we had a great time! Very relaxed, we stayed outside watching take off and land! Milo the flight instructor was brilliant too, he even took photos and video of our son controlling the plane, also shared the Flightradar app and we followed their route! How cool is that! Totally recommend!

After a bumpy start to my flight training journey with another school on the airfield, I quickly came across Aerohire. I called the number straight away and spoke with Ryan, who was incredibly helpful and took time out of his evening to get me set up on the booking system. My first lesson with Aerohire went exceptionally well. I was introduced to a like-minded instructor with a wealth of experience, and from day one, the staff made me feel welcome and genuinely took an interest in getting to know me. Fast forward to today, and I am now a licence holder, having completed my training with Aerohire last year. The club has become my second home, and I spend countless hours there, whether socialising with fellow members or hiring aircraft for self-fly trips. I should also mention that their aircraft hire rates are extremely competitive. You will not be disappointed by the level of training Aerohire provides. With a strong, well-maintained, and well-equipped fleet of aircraft, I can confidently say this is the place to go for flight training. I would like to thank all the staff at Aerohire for helping me achieve my dream of becoming a pilot and for continuing to support me throughout my aviation journey.

Started flying in with Aerohire in September last year 2025 and Nick my flight instructor is second to none Milo helped massively with my ground school. Ryan’s team are a credit to him picking the correct people. The club house is fantastic with free tea coffee and snacks and great for viewing the aircraft. I am a member and will continue to be a member to carry my own flying. They have a suitable amount of aircraft to cover if any becomes unserviceable. The prices are fair and you only pay for what you use. If you’re thinking of a trial flight or even a NPPL/or PPL this is the place to come you won’t be disappointed. It’s been a pleasure. To be a member at Aerohire flight training.

Friendly, reliable & professional. Great service start to finish from Ryan and his team. From first meeting to test, everyone has been welcoming. Pricing is honest, and their membership tier system worked well for me- triggering discounted aircraft hire rates. There are enough aircraft to cope if one or two are in maintenance. The club house is comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere that encourages general aviation topics, as well as normal conversation. Refreshments and (usual) plentiful snacks fuel the pilots and instructors. The aircraft that I have flown are honest and serviceable machines that have been looked after for many years. Let’s be honest- they’re training aircraft, so don’t expect too much, but there is a good culture of mechanical sympathy trained into you from the start to ensure good practice, and they are perfect for the job in hand. Special mention to Nick Clarke (my main instructor) who has the patience of a saint! Having gained my license, there is no question in my mind that I will continue to use Aerohire (if they still let me in) for self flying hire and skills building. I plan piper low wing differences training in the new year (which they are also equipped for.) Go and meet them- it won’t be the right place for everybody, but I am certainly glad that I found Aerohire.

The best flying school at halfpenny Green! Love that it’s a club and that I’m always welcome! Tea’s and snacks. Instructors acknowledge! It’s the best place to be, if you’re starting your aviation journey or qualified. Everyone is friendly and will go above and beyond to help you, or guide you. So glad I decided to change my learning to Aeros after an experience with another school. Great choice of aeroplanes, theory on flying is dealt with. Struggled with my theory, but the ground school team and instructors helped me so much! Thank you for everything guys!
